# II. Generate & Fund Initiatives

**Integrative Metatheories are a very powerful mental architecture.** What would become possible if we could apply them quickly and surgically to any field, any context, any problem, or any phenomena?

Initiatives are any project that IAM sponsors to map a context and follow-up with social action.

While the standard process for Initiatives might involve convening and funding a team of experts, mapping a context, identifying transformational fulcra etc., some of our Initiatives are projects we already know we want in the world and we're stepping up to build.

In the early stages we are going to be very open to the learning process of how Initiatives can be of most service to our stakeholders, including our partners who want us to sponsor projects on their behalf.
